一件 crane-neck 花瓶,轮廓纤细,釉色丰富多变的朱砂釉。表面从下部的深紫罗兰过渡到瓶口附近的鲜红与柔和的淡紫,形成鲜明的色阶对比。圆润的瓶身优雅地收窄成细长的颈部,这一造型在日本陶瓷中被称为 tsurukubi(鹤颈)形。通过铜基还原烧制得到的 shinsha(朱砂)釉呈现层叠的血红和紫色调,以及微妙的斑驳质感。口缘内侧露出白色瓷胎,在透明釉下。花瓶以圆形的足沿 finishing,并刻有签名。附原始签名木盒(tomobako)、黄布和册子。

Maeda Taisho (前田泰昭, b. 1937)
Born in 1937, Maeda Taisho is a ceramic artist based in Arita, Saga Prefecture, a historic center of Japanese porcelain production. After working in design for an Arita ceramic manufacturer, he established his independent studio at the age of 36. He is a member of Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition) and has served as a juror since 1991. His career has focused on the technically demanding study of cinnabar glazes, and he has received the Nitten Special Prize twice, as well as the Minister of Education Award at the Japan New Craft Exhibition. He has also served as Director of the Japan New Craft Artists Federation and Vice Chairman of the Saga Prefecture Ceramic Artists Association.
