本次拍卖的是一支战前的 Otto Mönnig Ortoton 长笛，产自德国莱比锡。Otto Mönnig (1862–1943) 的莱比锡木管乐器工作坊于1891年创立，因精湛的德国工艺而闻名，他的长笛以丰富、温暖的音色著称。Ortoton 型号大约于1911年推出，采用声学优化的音阶。
