Set of 4 bentwood bistro chairs with cane seats, produced by Ligna – Czechoslovakia, mid-20th century.

Elegant set of four classic Central European bistro chairs made of black lacquered bentwood with woven cane seats. Three chairs retain the original “Ligna – Made in Czechoslovakia” mark, from the historic Czechoslovak manufacturer known for producing Thonet-style furniture during the postwar period.

The graceful curved backrests and bentwood construction reflect the iconic Viennese café design, making this set ideal for vintage, industrial, or mid-century interiors.

The chairs show attractive age-related wear, including light scuffs and scratches to the lacquer, signs of use, and minor imperfections/restorations to the cane seats visible in the photos. Structurally sound and ready for use.
