originating from the late Kangxi period (c. 1700–1722), this exquisite piece was crafted in Jingdezhen for the affluent European market via the East India Company trade routes.

The jug showcases dense, vibrant floral decoration featuring stylized chrysanthemums and peonies in striking underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron-red, meticulously enriched with elegant gilded highlights. It features a classic baluster form, loop handle, and crucially retains its original matching domed cover surmounted by a pointed finial.

壶身饰以浓密而生动的花卉图案，以线条化的菊花与牡丹为主，采用引人注目的釉下蓝与釉上铁红并施以精致的金彩点缀，华美而富有层次感。壶身为经典的坛瓶形，圈环把手，最重要的是保留了原配的圆顶盖，盖顶饰有尖顶钮。
