夢山 Yumezan (20th century)
A refined Japanese bronze vase featuring two elegant silver cranes in flight against a deep black patinated surface. This handcrafted decorative vase was created by Yumezan and comes with its original signed wooden tomobako storage box.

The graceful crane motif is executed with remarkable detail, creating a striking contrast between the dark bronze body and the luminous silver-toned birds. The smooth rounded form and understated elegance reflect the aesthetics of high-quality Japanese metal craftsmanship from the Showa period.

An inscription on the underside states that this vase was presented as a commemorative gift in Showa 59 (1984) by six individuals for a celebratory occasion. Such presentation pieces were often specially commissioned as luxury corporate or ceremonial gifts in Japan during the late Showa era.
