Authentic early 20th-century American desk lamp produced by the New York Wire & Lamp Fixture Co. (N.Y.W.L.F. Co.), dating to approximately 1915–1925.
The lamp is executed in a restrained Arts & Crafts / Mission style, featuring a cast metal base with a hammered texture, a curved brass arm, and a pyramidal shade fitted with mottled slag glass panels. The glass exhibits attractive marbling in amber, brown, and off-white tones, producing a warm light effect when illuminated.
The underside of the base bears a stamped mark reading “GENUINE … CAST … N.Y.W.L.F. Co.”, confirming the manufacturer.
The lamp retains its original structural components, including the period-style socket. The wiring appears to have been replaced at some point for functionality.
