Charming small wooden sewing box / travailleuse with Basque motifs, 1950s-1960s.
Lovely small foldable sewing stand in varnished wood with hand-painted traditional Basque motifs (dancers in folk costumes). Compact model with carrying handle, drawers and upper compartment that unfolds to provide a pleasant work surface. Both functional and highly decorative piece, perfect for sewing, haberdashery or as a charming retro collectible.
Good overall condition with normal signs of use. One small arm was broken and glued back almost invisibly. Weight 850 g. Closed dimensions: length 20.5 cm, height 19 cm, depth 11.5 cm. Unfolded length: 51 cm.
