This set features three Uchide no Kozuchi 打ち出の小槌(Lucky Mallets), traditional Japanese symbols of prosperity and happiness.

The Uchide no Kozuchi打ち出の小槌 is the magical mallet associated with Daikokuten大黒天, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune七福神. In Japanese folklore, it is believed to grant wishes when gently shaken and has long symbolized wealth, business success, abundant harvests, and household well-being.

Each mallet presents a distinct and meaningful design:

*Wooden mallet with a gold ground, adorned with a three-dimensional pine motif, accompanied by crane and target designs. Pine and crane symbolize longevity and prosperity, while the target represents success and the fulfillment of wishes.

*Wooden mallet with a tortoiseshell pattern, the character “Kotobuki 寿” (longevity,Celebration), and a mouse finial. The mouse, a messenger of Daikokuten 大黒天, symbolizes wealth and abundance.

*Ceramic mallet with a bold spiral decoration and a beautifully aged patina.
The spiral symbolizes growth, continuity, and everlasting prosperity, representing a form in which beginning and end are seamlessly connected.

The red cords and tassels enhance the festive and auspicious character of the ensemble.
