大件的复古俄罗斯漆盒，采用传统的姆斯特拉风格，描绘亚历山大·普希金著名史诗《鲁斯兰与卢德米拉》中的浪漫场景。

画面描绘传说中的骑士鲁斯兰在田园般的梦幻景致中依偎在卢德米拉旁，周围环绕着高度风格化的树木、神话中的马匹与装饰性的花卉图案。场景以深黑漆地面上的雅致金色镶饰框起——这是一种典型的苏联时期俄罗斯漆器艺术特征。

盒身有铭文“Мстера”（Mstera），指向俄罗斯最著名的漆彩微绘学校之一，以更柔和的色调和童话般的构图著称。
