“Millennium Edition” 是 Bodegas Riojanas 在20世纪末最后四分之一阶段所产出的一批极为有限的顶级酒款。只有来自最杰出年份的最佳桶装酒被挑选出来，与其他产量分开陈放。其熟成期比平时长出数年。仅向少数忠实客户售出或提供了数百瓶。

这款酒原计划在1986年2月按常规 Reserva 装瓶。然而，经过品鉴筛选，最优的桶酒被搁置并再陈放三年。总共在橡木桶中陈酿七年半，之后于1990年直接自桶手工装瓶，未经过过滤。

这些酒瓶随后留在Cenicero村历史悠久的酒窖中，直至2000年以“Millennium Edition”名义发行。按今天的里奥哈监管委员会分类，这款酒将被认定为 Gran Reserva。
