苏小百在 Cine 与德国之间生活。他创作出既感性又严谨、难以归类的作品，其偏爱媒介漆器在中国历史中有着深厚的根基。其作品既享乐主义又神圣，具有鲜明的雕塑力量。与其描绘物体，不如说他的艺术在质问“存在”这一概念的本身。作为创作核心，苏氏作品以视觉语言来呈现哲学性问题，同时在日常人类层面具有普遍性。
