Shinsaku Hamada 生于东京，是 Shōji Hamada 的次子，出生于 1929 年。1930 年，他与家人迁居到栃木县 Mashiko 镇，如今仍居住在那里。他与儿子 Tomoo 在父亲创建的原址工坊并肩工作。Shinsaku Hamada 在东京的早稻田大学学习工业艺术。1970 年起，他开始在全球各地展出，并接管了 Hamada 工坊的经营。1978 年，Shinsaku Hamada 被任命为 Mashiko Sankokan 博物馆馆长。Shinsaku 一直努力将自己的作品与父亲的区分开来，刻意避免雷同，致力于发展自己独特的风格。1999 年，在从事陶艺 50 年后，他举行了个人第 30 次展览——再次在东京日本桥三越百货美术画廊举行。Including original signed and sealed tomobako.
