Quick Date Adjustment
This watch is equipped with a period-correct semi-quickset date mechanism:
Advance the hands forward past midnight until the date changes.
Turn the hands backwards to approximately 9 PM (21:00).
Advance the hands forward past midnight again and the date will advance by one additional day.
Repeat the process until the desired date is reached.
This traditional Swiss quick-date system was commonly used on quality automatic movements of the era and remains a charming feature appreciated by vintage watch enthusiasts.
