Fantastic cover by the Great Peter Pontiac!
This is a cover he made for a collection of punk songs, Texas Flashback nr. 4. - 1997
The work is framed professionally. I find it a pity to take it out, so I send it with the frame. I will tape the glass, and pack it very carefully - clearly.
The part inside the passe-partout is 26 x 20 cm - the total is 37 x 33 cm.
Peter Pontiac was a Dutch illustrator and comic artist. He drew underground comics, posters, and album covers.
Pontiac was closely involved with the Dutch punk scene. During the time he was addicted to heroin, he lived as a squatter with other punks and designed many covers for punk bands. The alter egos Gaga and Gigi that appeared in his comics were modeled on his own life with his girlfriend at the time. Many of Pontiac's punk drawings for album covers and concert posters were published by the publisher Oog & Blik in the series Pontiac Review.
CD cover shown for reference - the CD is not part of the lot.
