Blue and white landscape vase

Description:

Wide mouth, constricted neck, full shoulders, long body tapering downwards, short foot rim. The entire body is covered in white glaze, with underglaze blue decoration on the body. The foot rim is tapered inwards, revealing the unglazed clay. The landscape design on the body is harmonious and meticulously detailed, depicting majestic mountains, a village nestled against the mountainside, withered trees, and a scholar strolling leisurely across a stream and bridge.

This piece dates back to the late Qing Dynasty/early Republican era, approximately 1850-1930, and was made by Chinese hands. The exposed clay reveals its material and production date.

Condition:

Good condition, with signs of use. The vase has cracks, but no debris or signs of repair. It has been examined with strong UV light. (Please refer to the photos if the text is not clear enough.)
