DESCRIPTION

WINE VARIETIES: Traditional Douro Varieties.

VINIFICATION
This 40-Year-Old White Port is obtained from a selection of grape varieties recommended for the Douro region. The ageing process occurs naturally over many years, in oak vats at Quinta da Devesa cellars, thus resulting in a darkened colour.

TASTING NOTES
Golden white color, slightly greenish hue. The intense aroma features notes of Madagascar vanilla bean, salted caramel, orange blossom, and the earthy notes of fresh-cut cardboard and cigar box. On the palate is full, fresh, with notes of dried fruits, caramel and spices. Long and mouthful finish.

SERVING
Serve at 10ºC. Once opened, preserves its good tasting notes for at least 2 months.
