60. ACCA MS-70, Japan Mint 1st Year (Heisei 1) Cherry Blossom Avenue Commemorative Bronze Medal, Flower-decorated Girl/Kasuga Well, Beautiful High Relief. The Japan Mint was established in Osaka in November 1868 by the Meiji government with the aim of creating a monetary system compatible with a modern nation. From the Meiji to the Reiwa era, the Japan Mint has upheld its founding tradition of "challenge," constantly adapting to socio-economic changes and dedicating itself to producing coins, commemorative coins, medals, decorations, and metal crafts. This centenary commemorative bronze medal features a beautifully rendered cherry blossom avenue, a flower-decorated girl, and the Kasuga Well. The design is remarkably clear, a beautiful high relief, making it quite unique. Collectors should not miss it.
