This piece stands out for its excellent and meticulous artisanal craftsmanship, typical of the Italian blacksmithing tradition of the period: the plumage of the body is faithfully rendered through the geometric layering of individual textured metal plates, creating a dynamic three-dimensional effect. The slender, elegant head features engraved details and an ornamental crest, while the detailed textured legs stand firmly on a solid base shaped like a marsh leaf.
