Dates back to around 1960-1970 this kelim has been knotted to decorate the tent used by the tribe in Afghanistan / panjshir county.
Tent had an important role in tribe life as they migrate twice a year from colder places to warmer ones and viceversa while tent played an important role for protecting the family
The kilim is identical in both sides like somak kelims technique.
