Rare épiChysis finely decorated

Carafe à long spout with a squat body, a high slender neck, finished by a long handle whose height surpasses that of the spout. This vase was used for serving wine.
The épichysis has been entirely glazed in black, then enhanced with rich decoration in several circular friezes: the superb quality of the glossy black vitrified glaze obtained during firing provides an ideal support for decorative motifs painted in red and white highlights.
The decoration is organized in several friezes, composed of oval motifs, key patterns, chevrons and dots.
In the center, a wide band adorned with a laurel crown and a central rosette.
