鲜明的深蓝色粗体字在鲜艳的黄色背景上形成强烈的视觉冲击，使其成为中世纪后期日本药局广告的杰出代表。其高窄的竖向格式为店面橱窗展示而设计，如今仍然极具装饰性。

该招牌保留了原始光亮的瓷釉表面，带有岁月与使用痕迹，包括轻微划痕、安装孔周围及边缘的小瓷釉脱落，以及数十年展示所致的一般磨损。反面以灰色瓷釉处理，边缘可见蓝色飞溅，使其进一步证实为同期的正品制造。
