Iconic original set of six DSC 106 chairs, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, one of the companies that wrote the history of Italian industrial design in the 20th century.

The DSC 106 represents one of Piretti's most successful projects: a stackable chair with a very clean design, characterized by the refined aluminum die-cast frame and the steel legs, conceived to combine elegance, robustness and practicality. Even today it is regarded as a classic of Italian design and is present in numerous prestigious collections and environments.

The chairs retain the original burgundy faux leather upholstery with a natural patina due to time. The covers show signs of use consistent with the age, but the frames are solid, stable and perfectly functional.

A particularly interesting aspect is the presence of the original wooden molded shell under the upholstery, a feature that makes the set ideal for those who wish to preserve authenticity or for those who want to undertake a refined conservative restoration or a new upholstery while keeping the entire original structure intact.
