賣家描述
Prime Minister Award Artists Miyajima Muhitsu & Sekiguchi Sansaku Kokeshi Set
Item Description:
A set of two sosaku kokeshi creative dolls by Miyajima Muhitsu and Sekiguchi Sansaku.
The taller doll is Miyajima Muhitsu’s work “花心” (Hanagokoro, “Flower Heart”). Although the decoration is painted only in white, the flowing cherry blossom motif is beautifully expressed across the natural wood body, giving the piece a quiet and refined seasonal atmosphere. The bottom bears the artist’s stamp.
The smaller doll is by Sekiguchi Sansaku. The work title is unknown. It has a simple rounded form with black hair, a red body, and restrained circular decoration. Despite its simplicity, the balance of the form and expression shows the refined hand of a master artist. The bottom bears the artist’s stamp.
There are age-related marks, small scratches, and surface wear, especially visible on the smaller red doll. Please check the photos for the detailed condition.
