賣家描述
Artwork: ’Static Conversation'
Artist: Nora Ampova
Year of Creation: 2025
Medium: collage, mixed media
Size: 20 x 20 cm (30 x 30 cm with frame)
Category: Contemporary Art
Signature: Hand-signed by the artist
Edition: Unique
About the work:
A quiet encounter between a classical bust and a living plant unfolds in a deliberately artificial space. Cut-out painted forms and saturated color flatten reality, creating a scene suspended between memory, design, and fiction. The work explores the tension between permanence and growth, questioning how cultural symbols and nature coexist within constructed contemporary environments.
About the artist:
Nora Ampova (b. 1989) is a visual artist based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
She holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Painting
(2008-2014) from the National Academy of Arts Sofia, Bulgaria. In
2011, she specialized in Fine Arts at the University of Hertfordshire,
UK, as part of the Erasmus exchange program.
Her artistic practice spans painting, collage, drawing, sculpture, and
digital media. Deeply rooted in personal experience, her work
explores themes of isolation, solitude, self-sufficiency, travel, and
the complex relationship between humans and nature. Nora's
process is intuitive and introspective, often seeking to capture the
emotional and existential dimensions of contemporary life.
She has exhibited widely, with numerous solo shows, collaborative
projects, and international participations.
She is increasingly recognised as an emerging voice within the
Bulgarian contemporary art scene.
