Part two of an unrepeatable Papal State study on the 1/2 bajocco copies of the first emission (Sassone n. 1).

The study, expanded from the original core of the former Andreotti collection, includes all the nuances classified in the Sassone catalog from 1 (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) to 1Ab, with corner pieces, blocks, journals, covers, specialties, rare nuances and cancellations, with an exceptional couple of 1/2 bajocco (Sassone n. 1d), on the back of a cover from Viterbo to Castel Gallese, dated 8/7/1863, that although flawed has been certified and signed by M. Manzoni as one of the three covers known with a couple of stamps in this very scarce nuance.
