The Fanti Brunello di Montalcino expresses the highest characteristics of flavor and elegance. Tenuta Fanti is its faithful interpreter, its Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a warm, welcoming wine, always characterized by a well-defined tannic structure. A rigorous Brunello di Montalcino, classic in the best sense of the word. To obtain this long-aging wine, careful and selective work is carried out in the vineyard and harvest, manually picking only the grapes that are notably ripe and highly concentrated, following sugar and phenolic analysis of the individual production areas. The vinification process begins with the selection of the bunches and individual berries through three selection tables; destemming and pressing; fermentation at a controlled temperature of up to 28°C; and maceration in stainless steel vats for a maximum of 25–30 days, during which time appropriate pumping overs are carried out. Malolactic fermentation takes place before aging in wood. Part of the wine is aged in French oak barriques and part in medium-sized barrels for a minimum of 24 months. Aged in the bottle for at least 4 months before release.
