Matthew Houston（伦敦，1961年出生）因“Catalogue of Chaos”系列而知名——对摄影材料和工艺的深入探索。
这是始于1990年代末的一系列Polaroid和银盐胶印照片中的一张。
Matthew Houston在伦敦艺术中心学院学习版画，后又在伦敦印刷学院获得摄影一等学位。他开始在自己搭建的小舞台上给模特、演员和舞者拍照，当时他在一艘轮船上经营酒馆表演。这个舞台成为他1990年代末许多大型画幅照片和Polaroids的舞台。
