賣家描述
HOW LONG
Not long enough.
Keep looking.
About the artist
Noel Villafuerte is a contemporary painter based in southern Spain.
His work is guided less by the search for images than by the practice of attention.
Rather than beginning with a fixed idea, each painting develops through observation, instinct and time. Images are not imposed onto the canvas but allowed to emerge, often revealing themselves only after layers of uncertainty, hesitation and discovery.
"My art is not about me. My art is all me."
That is the paradox.
The work is not autobiography, yet it carries everything lived. Every gesture, rhythm and fracture belongs to an experience rather than an explanation.
Over the years, Villafuerte's practice has moved steadily away from describing the world and toward creating space for the viewer to discover it for themselves. The paintings do not ask to be understood immediately. They ask only for attention.
