Description

A beautifully preserved Parker Sonnet Mark I fountain pen, manufactured in France during the first quarter of 1995, finished in the highly desirable Tortoise Shell lacquer with elegant 23K gold-plated trim.

This is an early Sonnet model, identifiable by the slimmer cap band characteristic of the first generation. The rich burgundy and black marbled lacquer displays exceptional depth and remains remarkably well preserved.

The pen appears to have seen little to no use. The body, cap, trim and nib present in outstanding cosmetic condition, with only the faintest signs of storage consistent with careful preservation over the years.

The 23K gold-plated Parker Fine nib (F) is clean, correctly aligned and ready for use. The pen is fitted with its original Parker piston converter, allowing immediate use with bottled ink, while remaining compatible with Parker ink cartridges.
