Celadon-glazed sunflower-shaped tea bowl

Description:

This piece has a flower-shaped rim and melon-ribbed walls. The entire bowl is covered in a celadon glaze and is undecorated. It is a Song Dynasty tea bowl tray, with a thick body and exquisite craftsmanship.

This piece dates back to the Northern Song Dynasty, approximately 960-1127 AD, and was made by Chinese hands. The materials and exposed clay reveal its material and production date.

Condition:

In good condition, with signs of use, no debris, no signs of repair, and has undergone strong UV testing. (Please see photos if the text is unclear.)
