罕见且非同寻常的一组4件战壕艺术花瓶，手工制作于第一次世界大战期间，由当时的士兵/工匠将75mm炮弹筒（法国 Mle 1897 野战炮）改制成铜制花瓶。
该套装由两对完美匹配的花瓶组成：
对1（洛林十字架与橡树 - 标注于1919年）:
在点状纹理背景上精致浮雕，橡树叶与橡果为主题图案。正面突出洛林十字架，底部基座手工镌刻的1919年，纪念胜利以及阿尔萨斯-洛林归回法国。
对2（新艺术风格 - 玫瑰与沙漏形状）:
时代表性花杯式造型，呈杯状/沙漏形（torchon 风格）。上部以浮雕玫瑰花图案装饰，背景为几何纹理带打标。
底部印记（铸模标记）
花筒底部保留清晰的原始军事印记：
对Lorraine（洛林）组：法国75mm炮筒， dated 1918年5月（67% Cu / HL）与 1917年（46 L）。
对Rose（玫瑰）组：法国75mm炮筒，1916–1918年，带有原始铸造厂与试验印记。

Rare and outstanding set of 4 World War I Trench Art vases, handcrafted by period soldiers or artisans from brass 75mm artillery shell casings (French 75mm Mle 1897 field gun).
The set consists of two beautifully matched pairs:
Pair 1 (Cross of Lorraine & Oak - Dated 1919):
Finely embossed on a stippled background with oak leaves and acorns. The front features the iconic Cross of Lorraine and the year 1919 hand-engraved on the lower rim, celebrating the Allied victory and the return of Alsace-Lorraine to France.
Pair 2 (Art Nouveau - Roses & Hourglass Shape):
Spectacular period fluted/hourglass shape (torchon style). Decorated on the upper section with embossed rose floral motifs over a textured background.
Headstamp Markings (Base Punches)
The bases retain clear original military markings:
Lorraine Pair: French 75mm casings, dated May 1918 (67% Cu / HL) and 1917 (46 L).
Rose Pair: French 75mm casings, dated 1916–1918 with original foundry and proof stamps.
About Trench Art
Trench Art refers to decorative objects crafted by soldiers, prisoners of war, or local artisans during and immediately following World War I, using discarded war material. Brass artillery casings were particularly prized for their malleability and were hammered, repoussé-worked, and engraved right near the frontlines or in rear workshops. Beyond filling idle time during lulls in combat, these pieces served as poignant symbols of remembrance, patriotism, and hope for post-war peace.
