Exceptional Art Deco Alexandrite Glass Vase “Nymphs” – Ingrid Line by Curt Schlevogt (Gablonz), Czechoslovakia, ca. 1930

An exceptional Art Deco vase from the celebrated Ingrid collection, produced by Curt Schlevogt in Gablonz (Jablonec nad Nisou), Czechoslovakia, around 1930.

Executed in beautiful alexandrite glass, the vase displays a delicate lavender tone and is richly decorated with three sculptural female nudes intertwined with grape clusters and flowing foliage. The satin finish combined with the faceted rim and octagonal foot creates remarkable light effects and gives the piece an unmistakable sculptural presence.

The Ingrid line is considered one of the most iconic achievements of Bohemian Art Deco glassmaking and remains highly sought after by collectors of Schlevogt, Hoffmann, Lalique and Czech decorative arts.
