"Grey-Blue Rainbow"
Oil on canvas, painted in 2026.
Dimensions: 40 x 40 x 2 cm.
Signed lower right in oil paint and in the back with pencil.
Certificate of Authenticity is included.
This painting explores the subtle boundary between the visible and the invisible, between silence and movement. In shades of grey and blue, the rainbow is not presented as a symbol of bright contrast, but as a delicate presence — a trace of transformation, a memory, or a moment of light emerging through uncertainty.
The composition balances the calmness of the cool colour palette with the inner energy of the form. The rainbow becomes a metaphor for change and resilience — a quiet reminder that even in moments of stillness, light continues to exist and reveal new perspectives.
Rather than telling a specific story, the artwork creates an open space for personal interpretation, existing somewhere between a natural phenomenon and an abstract emotional experience.
Ganchо Ganchev / Gana, born in 1990, graduated from Emiliyan Stanev Secondary School in 2009 and from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Veliko Tarnovo in 2014, where he earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Painting. He works in the fields of painting, mural art, and the curation of various visual projects. In his canvas work, he combines different techniques, including oil paint, acrylic paint, spray, and collage. He has held 11 solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
