A beautiful and authentic Thonet bentwood coat stand, marked THONET on the central post. A striking example of the iconic bentwood furniture tradition pioneered by Michael Thonet.

Crafted from steam-bent beechwood, the stand features an elegant arrangement of curved coat and hat hooks, a turned central finial, and a distinctive circular lower ring for umbrellas and walking sticks. The four gracefully splayed legs provide a stable base while giving the piece its characteristic sculptural silhouette.

The warm reddish-brown finish and flowing curves make this an impressive functional piece of European design history.
