賣家描述

Offering:

1 exceptional and rare

Longquan celadon tripod incense burner

Description:

This incense burner is a classical scholar's incense burner from the Yuan-Ming dynasty Longquan folk kilns, also known as a qin (zither) burner. The body is cylindrical with a flat rim and straight walls. Three short feet are molded on the outside of the base. The design is simple and elegant, with unadorned and stable lines, reflecting the aesthetic preferences of scholars at the time for its refined use in incense burning.

The entire piece is covered in a bluish-gray glaze, warm and full, with natural crackle patterns. Age-related patina and aging marks are naturally and smoothly distributed across the surface. The interior base reveals the unglazed clay body, and the foot rim has a simple, rustic sandy texture. The finishing technique is archaic, fully reflecting the characteristics of Yuan dynasty Longquan folk kiln firing. The small size of the piece makes it suitable for display in a study, for incense burning, and for appreciation.

(Accompanied by a 2001 cultural relic authentication certificate), With a clear provenance, suitable for collectors of ancient Eastern porcelain scholar's objects.

This item dates back to the Yuan-Ming period, approximately the 14th century. It was handcrafted by the Chinese, and its materials and exposed clay reveal its origin and production date.

Condition:

Good condition, shows signs of use, generally well-preserved. Minor kiln cracks are visible on the side foot. No major damage. The item has been inspected using strong UV light. (Please see photos if the text is unclear.)
