J. Antony Redmile – Brass and Bone Champagne/Wine Bottle Coaster

Elegant bottle coaster in brass with bone veneer, designed by the renowned British designer J. Antony Redmile. Stamped with J Antony Redmile.

Antony Redmile (born 1940) rose to prominence in the London interior design scene of the 1960s. For his illustrious clients, he created some of the most eclectic objects of his time, using materials taken from or inspired by the natural world: ostrich eggs, horns, bone, malachite and coco de mer 果实, often combined with silver-plated metal or brass. His work is highly sought after by collectors today.
