Beautiful antique solid wood frame dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century, featuring exquisite handcrafted carvings with richly ornamented floral and scrolling corner decorations. The warm antique gilded finish enhances the depth of the carving and gives the piece an elegant, timeless appearance.

The frame is characterized by a substantial moulded profile with an intricately carved inner border, inspired by Italian Baroque and Rococo decorative traditions and reinterpreted in late nineteenth-century craftsmanship.

The original aged patina has been beautifully preserved. The frame shows minor wear, small age-related cracks and slight imperfections consistent with its age and use. These signs do not affect its structural integrity and contribute to its authenticity and historical charm.
