賣家描述
Elegant table clock of 32 cm in height, in Louis XV / Rocaille style, made in gold-plated régule and enhanced by a central ceramic enamel panel with a polychrome floral decoration.
The gilded dial features Roman numerals on white cartouches, finely engraved decoration and beautifully designed hands.
It clearly bears the mark Peter accompanied by three stars.
This mark corresponds to the Niedereschach_Rottweil Uhrenfabrik / Andréas Peter, a German manufacturer from Rottweil. The mark "Peter aux trois étoiles" was registered in 1935 for movements and parts of grand clocks.
The case, richly molded with rocaille and foliage motifs, rests on four feet.
The dial plate is adorned with a bouquet including notably a large rose and an iris.
Manual-wind mechanical movement.
The clock is functional.
It bears signs of age and use, notably patina wear and gilding wear, particularly on certain lateral parts.
These elements are visible in the photographs and contribute to the antique character of the object; see the photos as they form an integral part of the description.
