This rare Penaeus Arambourgi shrimp surrounded by high-quality fossil remains comes from the famous Cenomanian deposits of HAKEL_LIBANO, one of the world’s most important fossil sites, dating to the Late Cretaceous about 96 million years ago. This specimen is excellent for display, and its matrix is intact. Fossil shrimps have a light pearl-gray color when uncovered.
