賣家描述
collection of Belgian postage stamps and philatelic material, mainly from the 1930s–1950s.
The collection includes complete and partial sets, commemorative and charity issues from various periods. The majority of the stamps are MH (Mint Hinged), with MNH (Mint Never Hinged) examples also present. The condition of individual stamps varies according to age; the front and reverse sides of representative examples are shown in the photographs.
A significant part of the collection consists of Belgian issues from the 1930s and 1940s, including Winterhulp / Secours d’Hiver charity issues, issues supporting the fight against tuberculosis and the Red Cross, as well as various commemorative sets.
Of particular interest is the additional philatelic material, including souvenir and commemorative sheets and blocks, postal stationery, and specially prepared philatelic sheets featuring sets of stamps with special first-day cancellations.
Among these are a 1940 presentation sheet with the complete Winterhulp / Secours d’Hiver set, as well as two numbered Winterhulp sheets from 1942 with special Brussels first-day cancellations. The sheets themselves bear the inscription: “Speciale afstempeling op den eersten dag der Uitgifte / Oblitération spéciale au premier jour de l'Émission.”
The collection covers various areas of Belgian philately and offers an interesting combination of individual stamps, complete and partial sets, and additional commemorative philatelic material.
All items included in the lot are shown in the photographs. The photographs form an integral part of the description and should be used to assess the condition, completeness, and individual characteristics of the material.
