Sonia Anton is a Romanian-Australian contemporary artist. Raised in the South of France in a family of artists, Sonia has lived across Romania, France, Australia, Mexico and Spain, experiences that have shaped her deeply personal approach to art.

Inspired by colour, movement, emotion and personal experience, Sonia works primarily with acrylics, creating expressive contemporary paintings that balance abstraction with figurative elements. Rather than focusing on precise representation, her work aims to capture atmosphere and feeling through colour, texture and gesture.

Her paintings are modern, intuitive and deeply personal, inviting the viewer to find their own meaning within each piece.
