(The gelatin silver process is the basic chemical process used in black and white photography. The whole process takes place in a photo darkroom and the photo is hand-made by the artist.)

** LUMINOGRAM
A luminogram is a cameraless photograph created by manipulating light directly onto photosensitive paper in a darkroom. Instead of capturing a real-world scene with a camera, artists direct, shape, and filter light (often using small torches, prisms, or their hands) onto traditional silver gelatin paper to form unique, abstract patterns.

Anna Khavro is an artist working in field of photography. She creates unique books and art objects based on analog photography and original gelatin silver prints. She experiments with the process of creating photographs（“light paintings”）directly in the darkroom. Her works are in many collections in Europe, US and Japan.
