Large collection of approximately 15,000 matchbox labels, matchboxes and matchbooks from the Netherlands, Belgium and Japan.

An extensive and varied collection, dating mainly from the mid-20th century. The lot consists of several albums containing thousands of matchbox labels, together with a substantial selection of loose matchboxes and matchbooks.

The lot includes:

1. Japan – one album containing approximately 1,300 matchbox labels from the 20th century.
2. Belgium – one album containing approximately 3,300 matchbox labels.
3. The Netherlands – three albums containing approximately 9,300 matchbox labels in total, including many examples by De Kloof as well as various puzzle series.
4. Approximately 1,100 loose matchboxes and matchbooks, mainly from Belgium, with additional examples from the Netherlands and Japan.

Altogether, the collection comprises approximately 15,000 individual collectable items.
