Iconic original set of six DSC 106 chairs, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, one of the companies that wrote the history of Italian industrial design in the 20th century.

DSC 106 represents one of Piretti's most successful designs: a stackable chair with an extremely clean silhouette, characterized by the refined aluminum die-cast frame and the steel legs, conceived to combine elegance, sturdiness and functionality. Even today it is regarded as a classic of Italian design and is present in numerous prestigious collections and environments.

The chairs retain the original Bordeaux-style faux leather upholstery with a natural patina due to time. The covers show signs of use consistent with their age, but the frames are solid, stable and fully functional.

An especially interesting aspect is the presence of the original wooden shell shaped under the upholstery, a feature that makes the set ideal for those who want to preserve authenticity or for those wishing to carry out a refined conservative restoration or a new upholstery while maintaining the entire original structure.
