About the Artist – Sonia Anton

Sonia Anton is a contemporary Romanian artist whose work is held in private collections across Romania, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Having grown up surrounded by art through her mother’s studio in Antibes, France, she developed an early appreciation for colour, texture and expressive composition.

Working primarily with acrylics and mixed techniques, Sonia creates paintings that blend abstraction with emotion, allowing each viewer to form a personal connection with the work. Her paintings are characterised by layered textures, confident brushstrokes and harmonious colour palettes that evoke atmosphere rather than define it.

Each original artwork is hand-painted, hand-signed, and created with the intention of bringing warmth, depth and contemporary elegance into a space.
