Description:
An authentic ancient Corinthian alabastron, featuring the classic pear-shaped body, short neck, and flat, disc-shaped rim typical of the form. Originally designed to hold precious oils or perfumes, the vessel displays the unadorned surface of ancient beige terracotta, as the original painted decoration has been lost to natural wear over the millennia.
