The eye is naturally drawn towards this center, as if the artwork concealed within it a place of stillness that can only be reached when everything else becomes quiet.\n\nIn the upper section, the circular brushstrokes create an almost hypnotic atmosphere, somewhere between mist, sky and horizon. Below, the material becomes more expressive and dynamic. The brushstrokes, textures and layers of blue-grey tones evoke the surface of the sea, while also suggesting something more intimate: thoughts, emotions and memories that remain in motion while, at the center, everything seems to find its balance.\n\nThe work does not seek to depict a specific place.
