The Center of Silence is a work that invites the viewer to pause.

Its composition emerges from a serene, enveloping blue atmosphere, where a large circular form appears to gather all the energy of the painting. The eye is naturally drawn towards this center, as if the artwork concealed within it a place of stillness that can only be reached when everything else becomes quiet.

In the upper section, the circular brushstrokes create an almost hypnotic atmosphere, somewhere between mist, sky and horizon. Below, the material becomes more expressive and dynamic. The brushstrokes, textures and layers of blue-grey tones evoke the surface of the sea, while also suggesting something more intimate: thoughts, emotions and memories that remain in motion while, at the center, everything seems to find its balance.

The work does not seek to depict a specific place. Rather, it captures a feeling: that moment when we stop looking outward and begin to look within.

The blue, grey and soft green tones create a particularly calm and sophisticated presence. Depending on the lighting, the artwork can reveal different nuances: under cooler light it becomes more ethereal and silent, while warmer lighting brings out greater depth and a more enveloping atmosphere.

Texture plays an essential role. The lower areas are developed with greater material presence and expressive brushwork, allowing the surface to come alive and change when viewed from different distances. From afar, serenity dominates; up close, the marks, reliefs and subtle variations of the painting become visible, revealing a different reading each time.

The Center of Silence is conceived for spaces seeking to convey calm, elegance and depth. A work that does not need to dominate a room in order to have presence, and one that can remain visually engaging over time.

PRESENTATION & CARE RECOMMENDATION

Upon receiving the artwork, I recommend carefully opening and unrolling it and allowing the canvas to rest flat before mounting, particularly after transportation. This allows the canvas to gradually adapt to its new environment.

Once installed, it is recommended to display the work in a space with suitable lighting, avoiding prolonged direct exposure to sunlight.

For proper conservation, avoid excessive humidity, sudden temperature changes and direct contact with the painted surface. As the texture is an essential part of the artwork, do not rub the surface or clean it with liquid products.

El Centro del Silencio es una obra que invita a detenerse.

Su composición nace de una atmósfera azulada, serena y envolvente, donde un gran círculo parece concentrar toda la energía de la pintura. La mirada se dirige inevitablemente hacia ese centro, como si la obra escondiera allí un espacio de quietud al que solo se llega cuando todo lo demás se silencia.

En la parte superior, los trazos circulares crean una sensación casi hipnótica, entre niebla, cielo y horizonte. Debajo, la materia adquiere mayor presencia y movimiento. Las pinceladas, las texturas y las diferentes capas de azul grisáceo recuerdan a la superficie del mar, pero también pueden sugerir algo más íntimo: pensamientos, emociones y recuerdos que permanecen en movimiento mientras, en el centro, todo parece encontrar su equilibrio.

La obra no pretende representar un lugar concreto. Es más bien una sensación: ese instante en el que uno deja de mirar hacia fuera y comienza a mirar hacia dentro.

Los tonos azulados, grisáceos y verdes suaves generan una presencia especialmente calmada y sofisticada. Dependiendo de la iluminación, la obra puede adquirir matices diferentes: con una luz más fría se vuelve más etérea y silenciosa, mientras que con una iluminación cálida aparecen nuevas profundidades y una sensación más envolvente.
