・There are burns, stains, wrinkles, peeling off on the Japanese paper on the back of the cover.
・There are some burns, stains, wrinkles on the image.
・There are burns, stains, wrinkles, warp in the mounting.
*The shaft tip has been replaced with a modern one.
Remarks
・Roller ends are Wooden.
・Tomo-Bako. (Box inscription by the artist.)

Biography
Yamamoto Baisō (1846-1921)
Koka 3 (1846)-Taisho 10 (1921). Born in Handa, Aichi Prefecture. Japanese painter of the Meiji and Taisho periods, known for literati painting (Nanga). He studied under Nukina Kaioku and Mitani Setsuen, then returned to his hometown and refined his style by copying classical Chinese paintings. He excelled in landscape painting and was regarded, together with Yoshitsugu Haizan and Kodama Katei, as one of the three great regional painters. His given name was ● ("horse" radical with 冏), his courtesy name was Shiya, and his common name was Kurazo. His representative works include *Kakei Sansui* (Summer Landscape).
