Description:
A magnificent and complete vintage collector's set for cigar and pipe enthusiasts, bringing together high-quality European pieces from the second half of the 20th century. This curated lot includes a luxury Italian humidor box, two highly collectible estate pipes, and practical cutting accessories.
1. "Design Santoro" Cigar Humidor (Italy, c. 1970)
Material: Richly-grained exotic hardwood veneer exterior with an interior fully lined in authentic Spanish cedar.
Details: Features an integrated analogue brass hygrometer built into the lid (Modello Depositato), two removable cedar dividers, and specialized ventilation notches carved along the inner rim.
Dimensions: 36.5 cm x 20 cm x 12 cm.
Security: Includes the highly desirable original working key, ensuring a secure lock and a perfectly airtight seal essential for proper cigar preservation.
Condition: Overall good condition; some marks of scratches, mainly on the underside of the box, and some on the upperside.
2. Parker "Royal Sovereign" English Briar Pipe (Shape 344)Origin: London, England — a prestigious maker historically established by the Dunhill family.Details: Classic Straight Billiard shape carved from warm, reddish briar wood. The black ebonite stem proudly displays the original stamped logo (the iconic stylized heraldic crown inside a diamond). Stamping on the shank remains sharp and crisp.
3. "Welbent" Briar Wood Estate Pipe
Origin: Former state of Czechoslovakia (c. 1970s–1980s).
Details: Classic Bent Billiard profile showcasing an attractive dark flame grain pattern. It features a polished metal accent reinforcement band on the shank and a durable black vulcanite saddle stem. Factory stamps are clearly visible on the wood.
4. Pocket Cigar Cutters & Accessories
Vintage Gold-Tone Pocket Piercer: A beautiful mechanically spring-loaded vintage cutter with a textured guilloché pattern handle. It includes a small integrated loop designed to attach to a pocket watch chain or keyring.
